Super 7 Blackjack is a unique and exciting multi-hand Blackjack game that allows you to enjoy up to 3 simultaneous hands at a time!
There is also an incredibly intuitive Super 7 Side Bet that allows you to win a whopping £5000 – more on that later.
Super 7 Blackjack, while the name may dictate differently, actually plays out exactly the same as regular Blackjack, and all of the normal rules apply.
How To Play
It’s easy – using a six deck card-shoe, you will be dealt two cards face up – the dealer will also have one card face up, and will take a second card when you finish your turn. The aim of the game is to get your hand as close to 21 as possible, without busting, or, going over 21.
If you’re lucky enough to get an ace and a picture card – that is 10 through King – you have hit Blackjack, and you will automatically be paid out accordingly (assuming the dealer doesn’t also Blackjack).
Once your two cards have been dealt you have the opportunity to either hit, stand, split, or double, and these options are explained below.
Once your two cards are in front of you, if you are happy with your hand you can stick. This means you are prepared to put your hand up against the dealers’, and typically you want to stick any hand above 17 – hands 12 through 17 can often be hit dependent on what the dealers card is.
If you have a low hand, for example eight, you will obviously want to take another card as there is no chance of you busting and going over 21. This is where you would hit, and a new card is dealt, meaning you now have three cards. You are allowed to hit as many times as you want, and you can continue to hit so long as you don’t go above 21.
If you are dealt two cards of the same value, for example, two ‘7s’, you may split them by placing an additional bet which is equal to the main way to you made.
The final option you have available during playing gameplay is called the double, and this is where you are so confident in your hand that you want to double the bet before taking your next card – 9, 10, and 11 are the hands you can double, and you will only get one card, so make sure it is a financially viable move before doing so.
Super 7 Bonus
The Super 7 Bonus Side Bet is of course, the main focal point of the Super 7 Blackjack– the name really does it give away!
It works like this…
If your first card is not a 7, you lose the bet and the main hand continues…
But if it is a 7 – and it does not matter what colour or suit - the bonus bet will be paid out at 3/1.
Now if your first two cards are 7s, of any suit, you will be paid out at 50/1.
Lucky players who get their first two cards dealt as 7s which are the same suit, will enjoy a 100/1 payout.
Beyond here is where it really starts to get profitable.
If your first two cards are both 7s, and you decide to draw a third card, if that third card is a 7, you will be paid out at 500/1, no matter what the suit or colour.
If you are lucky enough to have the Irish luck on your side, and your first three cards are all 7s - AND the same suit - the bet will be paid out at a whopping 5000/1, giving you the chance to win thousands of pounds from a measly £1 stake!
The main Blackjack game (discounting the Super 7 Bonus Side Bet) pays out at even money, or 1/1. This is paid out on your main wager, as well as any doubles or splits you decide to make during gameplay.
If you are lucky enough to hit Blackjack, you will receive a payout of 3/2, and insurance – an option that is available – pays out at 2/1; the industry standard.
So… if you’re a keen Blackjack player… Or even if you’re just starting out and want to enjoy the thrills of a classic card game…
